Observations in today's staged home market
  • There are a large percentage of homes that are short sales and foreclosures. In some cases, these homes are competition. More than one realtor has said that in this market, a home needs to be priced right and look great.
  • Unless a buyer is in the rehab business or a looker who never buys, the buyer wants to be “wowed” by your home. Looking for a home is stressful for most buyers, so give them what they want, your home looking its best!
  • Do not over-neutralize. If nothing stands out, the potential buyers will NOT remember your home at the end of the day. There are dozens of fabulous, neutral paint colors that we can recommend.
