- Accumulator
- A bet that combines multiple selections into one wager, with all selections needing to win for a payout.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to teams to eliminate the draw option, using whole, half, or quarter goal lines.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for betting, used to manage risk and stake sizing.
- Both Teams to Score (BTTS)
- A market where you bet on whether each side will score at least one goal.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet on the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- A bet covering two of the three possible outcomes (home win/draw, draw/away win, home win/away win).
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that refunds your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise pays on the winner.
- Edge
- The perceived advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker’s odds.
- In-Play
- Betting on a match while it is ongoing, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Juice (Vig)
- The commission the bookmaker builds into the odds, meaning the total implied probability exceeds 100%.
- Lay
- To bet against an outcome occurring, typically used on betting exchanges.
- Margin
- The bookmaker’s built-in profit margin, expressed as a percentage of the total odds.
- Market
- A specific betting category or event you can wager on, such as match result or total goals.
- Moneyline
- A straightforward bet on which team will win the match, with odds reflecting the probability.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether a specific statistic (usually total goals) will be above or below a set number.
- Parlay
- Another term for an accumulator, combining multiple selections into a single bet.
- Price
- The odds offered for a selection, indicating the potential payout relative to the stake.
- Push
- A tie outcome in a bet where the stake is returned, often in a total that lands exactly on the line.
- Rollover
- A requirement to wager the deposit plus bonus amount a certain number of times before withdrawing.
